At Central Coast Speech Pathology & Orofacial Myology, we are dedicated to helping children and adults express their best selves. With a mission rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be heard and understood, we specialize in retraining the mouth to enhance communication abilities. We serve a diverse client base, ranging from age 2 to 65, focusing on specialized motor-based approaches for articulation disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, stuttering, and childhood apraxia of speech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech therapy services to children aged 2 to 18 years.
  • Assess and treat articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and expressive language issues.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training, particularly in orofacial myofunctional disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligible for licensure).
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in articulation, apraxia of speech, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
